A Ghanaian man with a huge Scouse Instagram following is planning to grow his own food after a gift from a cycle repair company from Liverpool.

Albert, who has 11,300 followers on his Instagram account @JungleAlbert and regularly records specially commissioned video messages, said he “didn’t know how to thank” Walton -based firm Rolling Fix Liverpool after it bought him an acre of land.

In a video, Albert thanked the cycle repair company and an employee called Thomas for the incredible gift.

In the video, he says: “God bless you for buying this land for me. For me to plant my own food on this land, may God bless you. I don’t know how to thank you.”

The video goes on to show Albert walking around his one-acre plot of land while repeatedly thanking the business.
